24 TCG translates the Jack Bauer real-time thriller into a card game during the mid-Season-5 peak of the show's cultural penetration, when CTU and the ticking-clock premise were television shorthand.
The game
Released in 2006 by Tyler Bielman's Thirty-One Press, 24 TCG is a two-player asymmetric duel where one player runs CTU (Jack, Tony, Michelle, Chloe) and the other runs a Terrorist cell attempting to complete its plot before the in-game 24-hour clock runs out. The timer mechanic is the signature: each turn advances real in-game hours, and late-game cards become playable only as the crisis escalates.
The context
Bielman had CCG design experience with other licensed properties and pitched 24 as a high-tension real-time game rather than a typical fantasy-combat port. The show was in Season 5 (its Emmy-winning best year) when the TCG launched, with President Logan and the Bauer-in-the-White-House arc still airing. Photography came from Fox publicity stills from the first five seasons.
The collector angle
Only a base set and a small expansion shipped before Thirty-One Press wound down the line. Foil Jack Bauer, Tony Almeida, Chloe O'Brian and Nina Myers character cards are the chase pulls. Signed Kiefer Sutherland cards do not appear to have been produced through any official channel. Because the TCG's distribution was limited and the show has not had a major revival, cards are a niche nostalgia item rather than a high-priced collector category.
