Echelons of Fire CCG is a companion or sibling release to Echelons of Fury, extending the combined-arms-military CCG design into additional theatres and expanded unit types.

The game

Released in the 1990s, Echelons of Fire CCG is a two-player military duel extending the Echelons game family into new historical or operational contexts. Mechanics continue the combined-arms coordination focus of the parent game.

The context

The Echelons game line occupied the indie-military-CCG space through the mid-to-late 1990s. Echelons of Fire represents the continuation of that design lineage.

The collector angle

Limited print runs and sparse distribution make Echelons of Fire cards obscure in modern aftermarkets. Cards are collected primarily by military-CCG completionists and by archivists of late-1990s small-publisher CCG output.
