HumAliens CCG is a sci-fi CCG with an alien-human hybrid premise, one of the many experimental mid-to-late-1990s CCG launches that tried distinctive premise hooks to compete in a crowded market.
The game
Released in the mid-1990s, HumAliens CCG is a two-player duel built around hybrid-species characters (Human-Klaskan, Human-Vantari, Human-Zaxanar) competing across colonised star systems. Mechanics use a Dual-Heritage attribute system where each character card has both human and alien ability profiles.
The context
The 1995-1998 CCG launch wave saw dozens of small-publisher entries searching for original design identity. HumAliens occupied a specific sci-fi niche that was less crowded than fantasy but did not find distribution scale.
The collector angle
Only a base set shipped. The game is obscure today and rarely surfaces in mainstream CCG trade channels. The hybrid-species rare cards are the primary identifying items for the small completionist collector base that tracks mid-90s CCG curiosities.
