Veto: Second Edition is the revised-and-expanded release of the original Veto! Nobleman Card Game, updating the 17th-century Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth setting with new mechanics and additional card pool.

The game

Released as a follow-up edition, Veto: Second Edition retains the multiplayer political-and-military structure of the original Veto! while adding new noble-house cards, updated Sejm-politics mechanics, and additional hussaria military units. The liberum veto core mechanic remains unchanged.

The context

Polish gaming publisher MAG released the second edition to update the game after the initial Veto! first-edition run had sold through and to respond to competitive-play feedback. The revision is primarily aimed at existing Veto! players and historical-wargame collectors completing the full Veto line.

The collector angle

Because the Second Edition is a revision rather than a standalone product, collectors completing the Veto archive typically own both editions. Second Edition foil rares and the new noble-house cards introduced only in this revision are the specific items distinguishing the 2nd edition from the original. Polish-language with limited international distribution.
