Arterial of Origins, known in Japanese as Soukoku no Arterial, is an adult strategic role-playing game developed and published by Eushully, a Japanese developer specializing in gameplay-driven eroge. The game was released in 2012 as Eushully's thirteenth title. Its card battle system is entirely internal to the digital game: players navigate an overworld and resolve all enemy encounters through a collectible card mechanic featuring Leader Cards, Hero Cards, Human Cards, Monster Cards, Angel Cards, Devil Cards, and Inorganic Cards, each with stats for Control Power, Summon Cost, and Hit and Life Points. The listing of this title in trading card game archives reflects the card battle system at its core, rather than the existence of a separate standalone physical product. No independently released physical Arterial of Origins card set has been documented. The narrative follows a high school student caught between his modern world and a monster-filled Distorted World, forced to ally with angels, devils, or neither.
