Asura System TCG is a Japanese trading card game published by Terranetz Co., Ltd. (later rebranded as Crowd Gate), first released around 2000 and best known for a series of expansions based on Arc System Works' Guilty Gear fighting game franchise. The game was designed as a general-purpose TCG system capable of hosting characters from multiple intellectual properties. Three Guilty Gear expansions were released: Guilty Gear X in October 2002 (153 cards), Guilty Gear XX in 2003 (144 cards), and Guilty Gear XX #Reload in 2004 (144 cards). All three sets were fully cross-compatible. Each set featured character cards, attack and ability cards, and support cards sorted into Common, Uncommon, and Rare rarities, with character cards typically occupying the Rare tier. Illustrated cards for characters such as Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, and May were central to the game's appeal. The total documented card count across the three Guilty Gear expansions runs to approximately 441 unique cards plus promotional variants. Earlier non-Guilty Gear releases under the Asura System label, including a set called Eternal Voice and one for The Dragonic Trooper Dragoon, predate the fighting game tie-ins but are far less documented.
