Atomic Football is a disc-format collectible card game produced by Italian publisher Edibas, initially released for the 2009-10 Italian Serie A football season. Rather than standard flat cards, the game used circular discs approximately eight centimetres in diameter, each depicting a player from one of Serie A's twenty clubs. The complete base set comprised 350 discs, supplemented by a Silver edition of 36 special discs featuring prominent players and a Gold edition of 20 premium discs. The game came packaged with a table board and rules, positioning it as a playable game rather than a pure sticker album. Edibas continued the line into at least the 2010-11 season, suggesting moderate commercial success in the Italian football collectibles market. The disc format was a deliberate point of differentiation from the Panini sticker albums that dominated European football collecting at the time. English-language documentation is sparse; most surviving records appear on Italian collector forums and trading sites.
