Berserk Trading Card Game is the official card game adaptation of Kentaro Miura's dark fantasy manga series Berserk, published by Konami in Japan starting November 27, 2003. The game ran for five releases, referred to internally as volumes: the first volume contained 160 cards, volumes two and three contained 64 cards each, and volumes four and five contained 80 cards each, not counting parallel variants and special illustration inserts. Gameplay is a two-player territorial contest in which players vie for control of a shared pool of Area cards. Victory requires occupying the Royal Capital and at least two Local City cards. Card rarity is indicated by emblem color: bronze for common, silver for uncommon, gold for rare, and red for super rare. Artwork combines original paintings by Miura, colored manga panels, and original pieces commissioned from Konami. The game was discontinued in 2005 and remains a sought-after collector item.
