Di.Gi. Charat is a collectible card game published by Broccoli in Japan in March 2002, based on the enormously popular Di Gi Charat media franchise. Di Gi Charat originated in 1998 when manga artist Koge-Donbo created the catgirl mascot character Dejiko for Broccoli's Gamers retail chain in Akihabara; the character rapidly expanded into manga, anime, and merchandise. Broccoli, itself a trading card publisher as well as a media company, developed the CCG as part of the franchise's broader merchandise output during the early 2000s, a period of peak Di Gi Charat popularity. The game was released as a Japanese-language product. Broccoli offered the Di Gi Charat Card Game in Premium Deck format, each deck containing 40 cards and a rulebook, and multiple premium decks were produced. The game is out of print. Detailed records of the full set list, total card count across all releases, and specific gameplay rules are not widely available in English-language archives.
