Goaaal!: Germany 2006 is a collectible trading card set published by Panini UK Ltd in September 2006 to coincide with the 2006 FIFA World Cup held in Germany. The set contains 54 cards and is notable to collectors for providing some of the first official World Cup trading cards for a young Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, making it a significant piece of football card history. Base cards feature high-gloss photography with gold foil accents, while a subset of 20 superstars received a metallized foil treatment. Sealed boxes held 24 packs of six cards each. The set was distributed in multiple regional configurations: US boxes included Goal Masters insert cards, while Japanese boxes featured a Japan National Team supplement. The product is firmly out of print and has acquired collector value, with key cards graded by professional services. As a tournament-licensed collectible rather than a game with competitive mechanics, Goaaal! sits at the boundary of the CCG format, functioning primarily as a complete-the-set collection product.
