The Grappler Baki Trading Card Game is a Japanese-language collectible card game published by Ti Tokyo in April 2001, based on the martial arts manga and anime series Baki the Grappler by Keisuke Itagaki. Cards are divided into three functional categories: Grapple Cards representing fighters, Technical Cards representing combat techniques and strikes, and Event Cards covering situational effects. The numbering system begins at card 001 and extends well past 110, with documented cards including characters such as Baki Hanma, Yu Amanai, Katsumi Orochi, Kaoru Hanayama, and Ichiro Miyata, alongside technique cards for moves like low kicks and throat kicks. Individual cards were sold through Japanese hobby retailers and have since become sought-after collectibles on secondary markets including Suruga-ya and eBay. Ti Tokyo was a specialist publisher of anime-licensed trading card games active during the late 1990s and early 2000s, producing titles tied to a range of manga and visual novel properties. Detailed rules documentation for Grappler Baki survives only in fragmentary form online; the game is a representative example of the short-run anime-tie-in TCG genre common to that era.
