Histoires de Hobbits [FR]

Histoires de Hobbits is a French narrative card game published by Edge Entertainment in 2014 as a companion product to The One Ring tabletop roleplaying game. Despite its classification in some CCG lists, it is not a collectible card game in the traditional sense: all components come in a single fixed box containing 75 Adventure Cards and 40 Hazard Cards, along with a game board, tokens, and a twelve-sided Destiny Die borrowed from The One Ring ruleset. In the game, two to five players take turns as the narrator, drawing Adventure Cards to weave a Tolkien-flavored story while the other players act as troublemakers and play Hazard Cards depicting dangers and monsters to complicate the tale. Players earn Acclaim points for cards successfully incorporated into the narrative. The game also includes optional rules for integrating the card draws into live One Ring RPG sessions. The game was designed by Marco Maggi and Francesco Nepitello, the same team behind The One Ring RPG and War of the Ring.
