Inu-Yasha is a Japanese collectible card game published by Bandai in October 2001, based on Rumiko Takahashi's manga and Sunrise anime series of the same name. The game was produced under Bandai's Shonen Sunday license and released in Japan contemporaneously with the ongoing anime broadcast. Cards carry coded identifiers using the CA and BO prefixes and feature character illustrations drawn from the anime. The Japanese version is distinct from the English-language InuYasha TCG later published by Score Entertainment for the North American market, which used a different card design and rule system. The Bandai Japanese release was distributed as a traditional CCG through hobby shops and vending formats, with booster sets expanding the card pool across the 2001 to 2002 period. Documentation of the exact set count and full rule set for the Bandai Japan version is limited outside of secondary-market listings.
