Orbs CCG was a digital collectible card game developed by Jerpix, Inc., a Y Combinator Summer 2013 cohort company based in the United States. The game positioned itself as a reinvention of the CCG format for asynchronous online play, allowing players to take turns over the course of days rather than requiring simultaneous sessions. A Kickstarter campaign launched in July 2013 sought $40,000 in funding and attracted 74 backers. Designer Jeff Pickhardt recruited Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour winner Tom Martell to assist with game design. The game ran in a browser using HTML5, claimed as a first for the genre, and featured an energy and bench system along with combat spread across two turns. Jerpix later ran a second Kickstarter for a digital-only follow-up version. The game is no longer actively supported, and its servers have seen minimal activity since the mid-2010s.
