Prism Connect TCG

Prism Connect was a Japanese collectible card game co-published by Ensky and Movic, launched in December 2011 following an announcement at Akihabara UDX in June of that year. The game was structured around licensed anime properties, with each set or booster series devoted to a specific franchise. Confirmed properties included Pretty Cure, Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Zero, High School DxD, Natsume's Book of Friends, Uta no Prince Sama, K, Steins;Gate, Durarara!!, and Togainu no Chi, among others. A legal deck comprised exactly forty cards with a maximum of three copies of any individual card, and all cards in both players' decks had to belong to the same series. Three card types existed: Character (the primary unit type), Event (single-use effects), and Scene (permanent field cards). Players began with twenty-five life points, and unblocked attacking characters dealt damage equal to their rank. Booster packs retailed at 300 yen each and contained seven cards plus a Prism Ticket. The final official tournament was held on 5 July 2015, after which support ended.
