Stoked! Skateboarding Must Die is a collectible card game published by Sir Mantraplay Productions, Inc. (listed in some sources as Sir Mantraplay) and released in the United States in October 2005. The game is set in a dystopian future where skateboarding has been outlawed, and players build decks around pro skaters to navigate that world. Edition 1 was released in two parts: Part One (126 cards) is set in the fictional city of Vegalas, populated by gangsters, tourists, and a hostile police force, while Part Two (118 cards) moves the action to Socalia. The game was developed in partnership with Birdhouse Skateboards, the company co-founded by Tony Hawk, and specifically showcased Birdhouse pro skaters Brian Sumner and Willy Santos. The game drew praise in skate media for its authentic command of skateboarding culture and slang. It was covered by ICv2 at launch. Sir Mantraplay also released additional sets in subsequent years before the game went out of print.
