The Garbage Gang is a trading card game released by Topps Europe in the UK in October 2018, representing the first UK release of the Garbage Pail Kids adjacent brand in many years. The 96-card base set draws its artwork from the 2008 Italian Kakkones series (itself a version of the international Garbage Gang brand), with four cards substituted to remove references to licensed characters. Ten lenticular chase cards are seeded at a ratio of approximately one per six packs. Card backs carry "Garbage Values" and "Garbage Type" statistics used in competitive play, offering a Top Trumps-style game experience. Products were sold in 24-pack retail boxes and in starter packs containing a binder, card pages, and five cards. Retail distribution covered Sainsbury's, WH Smith, McColls, Martins, One Stop, and independent newsagents across the UK. A parallel Italian edition titled Sgorbions launched around the same time with identical content in Italian.
