This is a Zombie TCG is a Japanese collectible card game based on the anime and light novel franchise known in Japanese as Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka (Is This a Zombie?). The anime, produced by Studio Deen, aired in Japan beginning in January 2011 and follows a high-school student who is resurrected as a zombie by a necromancer. The trading card game was released through Bushiroad's Victory Spark product line, which adapted multiple anime properties into a unified card game platform. Booster packs and trial decks were produced for both the original series and its sequel, Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? Of the Dead. The Victory Spark system used stat-based card battles, with players building decks around characters from their chosen franchise. The game is long out of print, and surviving cards have become collector items on the secondary market, sought primarily by fans of the anime franchise rather than the competitive card game community.
