Franchise context: The write-up below is from the parent franchise article (anime, book series, or IP) rather than the card game itself. A dedicated CCG profile has not been written yet.

Tokyo Mew Mew is a Japanese collectible card game published by Amada Printing MFG and released in September 2002, timed to coincide with the broadcast of the Tokyo Mew Mew anime series. The anime, produced by Pierrot and airing on TV Tokyo affiliates from April 2002 through March 2003, follows five girls infused with the DNA of endangered animals who fight to protect the Earth. Amada Printing MFG was a prolific producer of anime merchandise cards in Japan throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, and the Tokyo Mew Mew card game followed the company's established pattern of releasing collectible game sets tied closely to currently airing television properties. The cards feature character and scene artwork from the anime. In Western markets the franchise was localized as Mew Mew Power. The game was released only in Japan with no language designation, meaning the text is assumed to be Japanese. It is now out of print, and detailed documentation of the specific gameplay rules or card set composition is scarce in surviving collector records.
