Top Gear Turbo Challenge

Top Gear Turbo Challenge is a trading card game based on the long-running BBC television series Top Gear, published by BBC Worldwide in the United Kingdom. The game launched in January 2010 as a fortnightly partwork magazine published by BBC Magazines, with each issue priced at 2.50 pounds and including a pack of trading cards. The initial series contained 276 cards featuring cars, challenges, and personalities from the show. A second series called Extra, released later in 2010, added a further 150 cards for a total of 426. A third and final series called Platinum launched in 2011, bringing the set to a reported 531 cards total across 52 fortnightly issues. Sales peaked at approximately 200,000 units per issue at the height of its popularity. The game was aimed at younger fans of the show and drew on the Topps Attax competitive card format. Topps later adapted the branding into a separate standalone Top Gear Turbo Attax trading card game released in 2015.
