Transformers Heat Scramble is a collectible card game published by TakaraTomy in Japan and released on May 14, 2011. The game is based on the live-action Transformers film trilogy produced by Michael Bay, and its cards depict characters and scenes from the first three films, including Transformers Dark of the Moon content added in its booster set. Cards are divided into three functional types: Unit cards (character-based), Episode cards (scene-based), and Action cards (gameplay modifiers). Rarity follows a four-tier structure of Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Super Rare. The game mechanics follow conventional trading card game conventions broadly comparable to other contemporary CCGs of that era. The booster set added units and events from the Dark of the Moon film, including cards featuring Shockwave, cloaked Megatron, Optimus Prime with his trailer, and Sentinel Prime. The game was released only in Japan and is now out of print.
