Union Arena

Union Arena is a crossover collectible card game published by Bandai in Japan, launching on March 24, 2023. Designed around a single shared ruleset, the game allows players to build 50-card decks from one licensed anime franchise and then compete against decks drawn from other properties. Launch titles included Jujutsu Kaisen, Hunter x Hunter, and Code Geass, with Demon Slayer, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, My Hero Academia, Chainsaw Man, and many others following in rapid succession. Each card belongs to a specific IP, and cross-franchise deckbuilding is not permitted, keeping each title's play style distinct while the rules remain constant across all sets. An English-language edition was announced in December 2023 and reached shelves in late 2024. The game employs a damage-based life system in which all attacks convert directly to life loss unless a card ability says otherwise, and collectible tiers include standard rarities as well as signed parallel variants prized by collectors.
