Unlimited VS is a trading card game platform published by SK Japan beginning in 2013, structured around multiple licensed anime and video-game properties sharing a common rules engine. The game's win conditions center on accumulating five damage in the opponent's damage zone or forcing them to be unable to draw. Known franchises under the Unlimited VS banner include BlazBlue (vol.1 and vol.2 booster sets, produced in connection with Arc System Works), Senran Kagura, and Hyperdimension Neptunia. The Neptunia vol.1 starter deck shipped with 45 cards including a starter parallel card and a visual book, with a chance at autographed super-rare cards signed by voice actors or character designer Tsunako. A planned Neptunia vol.2 set featuring CPU Candidates was announced for spring 2015 but was cancelled when the line was discontinued. Each property had its own starter deck and booster series while players participated in organized events such as the 2014 Unlimited Battle Tours tournament circuit across Japan.
