Versus TCG, officially titled VERSUS TCG Vol. 1 SNK vs Capcom, is a Japanese collectible card game published by Mirai Hachi Karuta Shokai, a trading card division of Hudson Soft, in 2000 and sold as a retail product in Japan in 2003. Based on the Neo Geo Pocket Color video game SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters' Clash, the game adapts that title's gameplay into a physical format with 336 cards in the base set: 120 SNK character cards, 120 Capcom character cards, 60 action cards, and 18 special cards for each side. Starter decks retailed at 1,200 yen for 40 cards, while booster packs of ten cards cost 300 yen, with separate SNK and Capcom sides marketed as distinct product lines. Despite hinting at a Hudson Booster expansion on the back of the manual, no further sets were produced. The game's obscurity is compounded by its generic name and rarity outside Japan, to the point where its existence was doubted by some collectors for years. Fan-made English translations of the card texts have since been compiled and shared online.
