Wakfu TCG is a collectible card game developed by Ankama Games in partnership with Upper Deck Entertainment, launched on October 13, 2009. Set in the Krosmoz universe that underpins both the Dofus MMORPG and the Wakfu animated series, the game features characters, locations, and items familiar to players of either property. The base Incarnam set contained approximately 320 cards at launch. The game uses a dual victory condition: players can win either by reducing the opponent's hit points to zero or by accumulating 18 experience points. Ankama subsequently released additional sets including an Astrub expansion and further volumes, reaching seven sets and a total of 1,450 cards before production ceased on December 12, 2011. The publishers cited complexity of rules as a barrier to recruiting new players. The game was succeeded in Ankama's tabletop lineup by Krosmaster Arena in December 2012. A fan community known as WTCG Return has maintained the game through online play via Tabletop Simulator.
