Xemytica: Fate of Heroes

Xemytica: Fate of Heroes is a collectible card game published by Pingo in Russia, released on 22 December 2009. The game used a proprietary card system that Pingo designated the Xemytica Card Game System, which was later planned as the engine for a separate release called 1910. In Fate of Heroes, each player builds a combat deck around Fighter cards, boosted by Fate cards and Gear cards that raise Action Values to determine battle outcomes. The design aimed for quick games through a streamlined resolution system focused on card value comparisons. A follow-up product using the same system was in development but the Xemytica line did not reach a wide international audience, and English-language documentation remains scarce. It is a noteworthy example of the Russian indie card game scene that produced several small CCG experiments in the late 2000s.
