Zoon / Zoondo [FR]

Zoon (also released in expanded form as Zoondo) is a two-player card game published by West End Games featuring pre-built faction decks representing warring tribes of genetic experiments. Each faction deck contains 16 cards, with factions including Rhinogoths, Monkus, Warus, Boarix, and numerous others under the Zoondo extension. Rather than randomized booster packs, the game used a fixed-deck model in which players purchased complete faction sets and combined them with other factions to explore different matchup dynamics, placing it closer to a pre-constructed expandable game than a conventional CCG. A French-language edition was produced, listed here as the French variant, and French-language sources account for a significant portion of surviving community documentation about the game. West End Games, the American company best known for its Star Wars roleplaying game line, published Zoon before its financial difficulties in the early 2000s contributed to its discontinuation. Physical copies are scarce today.
